Luba Shumeyko, also known as Luba Shumeyko Hegre, is a Ukrainian nude model and photographer.Born in Kyiv, she studied fashion design at the University of Technology there before diving into modeling. She’s married to Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre and is a key figure in his work, starring as the main model for Hegre-Art (originally Hegre-Archives, renamed in December 2005).The site’s logo even features her face. She has a twin sister, Nadya Shumeyko, who used to do nude modeling with her but later shifted to mainstream modeling. After being a local beauty queen, Luba first popped up online at Met-Art, then gained fame through Hegre’s site. In 2005, she started contributing to The New Nude magazine and has also been photographed by Didier Carré and featured in Perfect 10 magazine.
